CCNA 200-301

Cisco Certified Network Associate (200301 CCNA)

This exam tests your knowledge and skills related to: … Network access. IP connectivity. IP services.

The CCNA 200-301 exam can be a great jump start into the world of CCNA technology. It is a non-traditional method of examination and testing and can be taken by those who already have a fair amount of experience behind them or even those who just want to push their own knowledge as far as possible before moving on to other Cisco certifications. The CCNA is an industry standard in networking and many people who are just starting out in this field will need to take this exam. Passing this exam will show Cisco that you are serious about becoming a professional in this field and have what it takes to keep up with the changing times and new technologies. Much like any other kind of exam, CCNA exams will be divided into two sections for each major topic. Your primary coursework for your CCNA certification will cover the in depth topics such as VLAN’s, routing and Switching, IP addressing, wireless networks, and so much more.

The second segment of your CCNA 200-301 study schedule will cover the new topics found in the CCNA books that were previously published. This includes such topics as OSP caches, BPD sessions, client detection, and authentication, and more. One of the biggest questions that most people who are taking these exams face is figuring out which books to use and which ones are best to go back to after they have finished reading them once. Luckily there are many great books out there that are based upon Cisco’s CCNA foundation and covers all the main topics from the ground up. When picking your books, you should make sure they are the same as the ones you took in your CCNA class and use the same Cisco textbooks that were used to help you learn your new exam.

Once you have completed all of the required prerequisites to take the CCNA exam, it is time to get started on your preparation. Many people are surprised how much time is actually required to complete the CCNA tests. In actuality, you should be able to complete the exams in a week, but there are still many people who try and do it in as little time as possible. The best way to prepare for your new 200-301 certification is to simply study as much as you can. The more you know and understand about networking before taking your CCNA test, the better prepared you will be when you finally sit down to take it.

CCNA 200-125

The CCNA 200-125 Exam has become the one of the most widely used and accepted Cisco certification exams. This is a prerequisite for those wanting to be a qualified Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), regardless of previous experience. One thing that this CCNA review shows us that it does not cover is how to configure a VPN in CCNA 200-125. In fact, there is no information on this anywhere on the exam site. The only thing it does say is that you must do VLAN routing to get to your VPN, and that is about all they tell you about this part. They do not mention any other type of security or networking considerations needed to get to a VPN, even though it is an important part of your new networking endeavors. You do, however, have to know how to use a typical WAN setting in Cisco CCNA or else you will be sitting there with a big blue screen telling you there is something wrong with your LAN card. Not very fun!

This CCNA review shows you that the CCNA exam does not cover WAN Optimization. So if you are a novice in this area of expertise, this part of your CCNA Certification should be avoided like the Plague. You’ll spend more time fixing your routing issues than studying for the CCNA exam.

In CCNA exam there will be 50 to 60 questions, generally around 55. Questions will be of different types including multiple-choice questions, drag and drop questions and Simulations
